In 2020, UNRWA will continue to support Palestine refugees affected by the protracted crisis through providing relief assistance and ensuring access to essential education and health services. Drawing on its existing structures, supply chains and capacities, the Agency will continue to adapt its int...erventions to respond to ongoing and evolving needs in an effective and agile manner. In Syria, it is expected that the spontaneous return of Palestine refugees from within and outside the country will continue in areas that experience relative calm and where basic infrastructure is rehabilitated, as observed in Sbeineh and Khan Eshieh camps in recent years. In 2020, UNRWA will increase its efforts to rehabilitate its facilities and restore its services in areas of spontaneous return, including in Dera’a, where small scale returns have been observed in 2019.

Les bouleversements qui affectent les familles, les relations avec les amis, les routines quotidiennes et l’ensemble de la communauté peuvent avoir des répercus...sions négatives sur le bien-être, le développement et la protection des enfants. En outre, les mesures appliquées pour prévenir et contrôler la propagation du COVID-19 peuvent exposer les enfants à des risques pour leur protection. Les mesures de quarantaine et d’isolement au domicile ainsi que dans des installations ou des zones spécifiques peuvent affecter de façon négative les enfants et leur famille.
L’objectif du présent document est d’aider les professionnels de la protection de l’enfance à mieux faire face aux risques dans ce domaine lors d’une pandémie de COVID-19. Les mesures adoptées par les écoles peuvent prévenir l’introduction et la propagation de la COVID-19 par les élèves et le personnel qui auraient été exposés au virus tout en réduisant au minimum les perturbations et en évitant la stigmatisation des personnes concernées.

This rapid advice guide examines the evidence and makes recommendations for the use of chest imaging in acute care of adult patients with suspected, probable or confirmed COVID-19. Imaging modalities considered are radiography, computed tomography and ultrasound. This guide addresses the care pathwa...y from presentation of the patient to a health facility to patient discharge. It considers different levels of disease severity, from asymptomatic individuals to critically ill patients. Accounting for variations in the benefits and harms of chest imaging in different situations, remarks are provided to describe the circumstances under which each recommendation would benefit patients. The guide also includes implementation considerations for different settings, provides suggestions for impact monitoring and evaluation and identifies knowledge gaps meriting further research.
