El proyecto se enmarca en el P...rograma de atención a refugiados/as urbanos/as del Servicio Jesuita a Refugiados, conocido como Urban Emergency Program, cuyo objetivo fundamental consiste en satisfacer las principales necesidades básicas de población refugiada (proporcionar acogida, acceso a agua y alimentación, bienes básicos no alimenticios, educación y salud).El proyecto pretende satisfacer las necesidades básicas de la población refugiada y solicitante de asilo que huyen a Uganda de los conflictos de los países vecinos (RDC, Ruanda y Burundi). La mayoría de los refugiados/as permanece en ocho asentamientos y muchos optan por quedarse en Kampala, ya que la liberal política de refugiados ugandesa les permite quedarse en la ciudad siempre que puedan mantenerse por sí mismos, lo que justifica la creciente tendencia de urbanización de refugiados. El proceso de atención comienza con la recepción de los refugiados en las instalaciones del JSR y la identificación de casos en los barrios con alta concentración de población refugiada. A través de entrevistas personalizadas y visitas a las viviendas, el equipo de JRS realiza una evaluación de necesidades, selecciona los casos más graves y define una estrategia de abordaje específica para cada beneficiario/a. Una vez seleccionado, el/la refugiado/a recibe un documento de reconocimiento que garantiza el acceso a los servicios disponibles en el que se indica la fecha de ingreso y de salida del programa de asistencia. En concreto los fondos de Castilla-La Mancha se destinan a proporcionar dos comidas por día, bienes de primera necesidad (ropa, mantas, medicamentos) y servicios básicos a 180 personas refugiadas. Además se pretende que 25 personas (10 H y 15 M), refugiados/as y solicitantes de asilo, mayores de 18 años accedan al programa de formación profesional del JSR y 18 personas (8 H y 10 M) reciban conocimientos básicos para gestionar y/o estar involucrados en actividades generadoras de ingresos.

El conflicto en República Cen...tro Africana (RCA) ha obligado a cruzar la frontera con Camerún a más de 100.000 refugiados desde el pasado diciembre. La situación de salud de estas personas, incluyendo la nutrición es extrema después de casi un mes de trayecto. En este contexto es necesaria una intervención rápida y eficaz en nutrición, para ello, es necesario que los suministros nutricionales y medicamentos esenciales para el tratamiento de la desnutrición en los sitios de tránsito de las regiones del Este y Adamawa se puedan distribuir de manera rápida y eficaz. Este apoyo se hará a través de las siguientes acciones: Compra y distribución de suministros para la atención de 4.000 niños y niñas con desnutrición aguda. Equipamiento de los centros de salud. Fortalecer y desarrollar un sistema de monitoreo y seguimiento de la distribución y uso de dichos suministros Kokapena/ Localización: El proyecto se ejecuta en las regiones del Este y de la Adamawa (fronterizas con RCA) son las regiones afectadas por la crisis y la entrada de refugiados de República Centrioafricana desde enero del 2014. En concreto, 10 distritos de salud de las regiones del Este de la Adamawa son los más afectados Los distritos de salud que acogen a refugiados son: 2 distritos en la región de Adamawa: Djohong y Meinganga 8 distritos en la región del Este: Bertoua, Garoua-Boulai, Betare-Oya Kette, Batouri, Ndelele, Youkadouma y Mouloundou

El proyecto se enmarca en el P...rograma de atención a refugiados/as urbanos/as del Servicio Jesuita a Refugiados, conocido como Urban Emergency Program, cuyo objetivo fundamental consiste en satisfacer las principales necesidades básicas de población refugiada (proporcionar acogida, acceso a agua y alimentación, bienes básicos no alimenticios, educación y salud).El proyecto pretende satisfacer las necesidades básicas de la población refugiada y solicitante de asilo que huyen a Uganda de los conflictos de los países vecinos (RDC, Ruanda y Burundi). La mayoría de los refugiados/as permanece en ocho asentamientos y muchos optan por quedarse en Kampala, ya que la liberal política de refugiados ugandesa les permite quedarse en la ciudad siempre que puedan mantenerse por sí mismos, lo que justifica la creciente tendencia de urbanización de refugiados. El proceso de atención comienza con la recepción de los refugiados en las instalaciones del JSR y la identificación de casos en los barrios con alta concentración de población refugiada. A través de entrevistas personalizadas y visitas a las viviendas, el equipo de JRS realiza una evaluación de necesidades, selecciona los casos más graves y define una estrategia de abordaje específica para cada beneficiario/a. Una vez seleccionado, el/la refugiado/a recibe un documento de reconocimiento que garantiza el acceso a los servicios disponibles en el que se indica la fecha de ingreso y de salida del programa de asistencia. En concreto los fondos de Castilla-La Mancha se destinan a proporcionar dos comidas por día, bienes de primera necesidad (ropa, mantas, medicamentos) y servicios básicos a 180 personas refugiadas. Además se pretende que 25 personas (10 H y 15 M), refugiados/as y solicitantes de asilo, mayores de 18 años accedan al programa de formación profesional del JSR y 18 personas (8 H y 10 M) reciban conocimientos básicos para gestionar y/o estar involucrados en actividades generadoras de ingresos.

En la actualidad el número de... refugiados y refugiadas centroafricanos desplazados por la crisis de la República Centroafricana asciende a 944.603 personas de R.D. del Congo, Camerún, Chad y otros lugares. Con este proyecto se pretende contribuir al proceso de protección internacional de los refugiados residentes en los campos de Inke, Mole y Boyabu situados en la provincia de Equateur al norte de la República Democrática del Congo, asegurándose su acceso a servicios sanitarios de emergencia. Se centrará principalmente en proveer a la población refugiada de dichos campos de medicamentos esenciales, del apoyo al funcionamiento adecuado de los centros de salud de los campos con suministros médicos básicos y del desarrollo de un plan de contingencias de epidemias. --- geography complete : Campos de Inke, Mole y Boyabu situados en la provincia de Equateur al norte de la República Democrática del Congo ;

Este proyecto forma parte de u...na operación global de asistencia a la población refugiada principalmente financiada por ACNUR y ECHO (UE). La presente propuesta pretende dar continuidad a las acciones enmarcadas dentro de la operación de asistencia a la población refugiada del campo de Nyarugusu, ubicado en el distrito de Kasulu (Región de Kigoma, al oeste de Tanzania). Su principal objetivo es prestar servicios de salud en dicho Campo, cuya población es mayoritariamente congoleña. Los servicios de salud funcionan de acuerdo con las políticas nacionales del gobierno Tanzano y los estándares internacionales establecidos para este tipo de situaciones crónicas, en concreto los estándares del ACNUR para campos para personas refugiadas y los del proyecto Esfera. Los principales servicios prestados a la población refugiada y población local en el campo de nyarugusu comprenden; servicios curativos, servicios de salud reproductiva, de salud preventiva y de nutrición, a través de 2 hospitales, 3 centros de salud y centros nutricionales, así como un equipo local formado por 135 personas y más de 400 voluntarios entre los refugiados y refugiadas
