Los cambios del contexto en 2018 nos traen varios desafíos y oportunidades para el 2019. Este año tuvimos la posesión del Presidente Duque y un redireccionamiento de las prioridades del Gobierno en la agenda nacional. Asimismo, observamos un incremento sustantivo en los flujos migratorios mixtos ...provenientes de Venezuela, mientras en algunas de las zonas históricamente más afectadas por el conflicto armado se ejercían esfuerzos para la implementación de los Acuerdos de Paz con las FARC-EP. En ese contexto, observamos en algunas regiones del país la continuidad de dinámicas de violencia con afectaciones a la población civil y el subsecuente deterioro de los indicadores humanitarios: el desplazamiento interno, restricciones a la movilidad, amenazas y asesinatos a líderes(as) y defensores(as) de derechos humanos, incidentes MAP/MUSE. Todos ellos alcanzaron niveles que no registrábamos desde hace algunos años. Además, la incertidumbre por los diálogos de paz con el Ejecito de Liberación Nacional aumenta el riesgo de estos desafíos.

El manual está dirigido especialmente a los programas nacionales de tuberculosis y a las entidades que colaboran en la planificación, ejecución, evaluación e Investigación operativa de los programas de tuberculosis.

Enraciné dans les fondements du développement communautaire centré sur l’enfant, le succès de cette stratégie sera mesuré par la façon dont les pays, chacun en ce qui le concerne, contribuent à leurs systèmes de protection des enfants et s’associent à différents niveaux pour combattre... la violence contre les enfants. Cette stratégie est le résultat d’un processus hautement consultatif qui a touché les enfants et les jeunes, le personnel de Plan International, les spécialistes externes à l’échelle mondiale et le document vient d’être mis en place avec les efforts conjoints du groupe de référence mondial sur la programmation en matière de protection des enfants.

Key Messages and Recommendations.
The Report, Todos y todas sin excepción, produced by the Global Education Monitoring (GEM) Report and the Regional Bureau for Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (OREALC /UNESCO Santiago), along with the Laboratory of Education, Research and Innovation in... Latin America and the Caribbean (SUMMA) shows that, prior to the pandemic, in 21 countries, children from the richest households were five times as likely as the poorest to complete upper secondary school.
Learning outcomes were low before COVID-19. Only half of 15-year-olds achieved minimum proficiency in reading. In Guatemala and Panama, barely 10 disadvantaged 15-year-old students master basic mathematics skills for every 100 of their better-off peers. Indigenous people and Afro-descendants also have lower attainment and literacy rates.
The report includes a set of key recommendations for the next decade, which will help countries achieve the objectives of the 2030 Agenda and calls for schools to be more inclusive, which many still are not.

This toolkit is intended to support GBV staff to build disability inclusion into their work, and to strengthen the capacity of GBV practitioners to use a survivor-centered approach when providing services to survivors with disabilities.
The tools are designed to complement existing guidelines, prot...ocols and tools for GBV prevention and response, and should not be used in isolation from these. GBV practitioners are encouraged to adapt the tools to their individual programs and contexts, and to integrate pieces into standard GBV tools and resources.

This guide is designed for programme and curriculum developers who are preparing or revising formal education and training programmes and curricula for the FP and CAC workforce.
This guide proposes a new FP and CAC Educational Design Model for programme and curriculum development. This model can support competency-based education (CBE) for current and future FP and CAC services, with a pre-service training pathway of at least 12 months, and can also support in-service training. CBE provides the most effective means to orient educational programmes and curricula towards effective health services that meet population health needs, and this Educational Design Model provides a guide for linking the competencies required to provide a range of health services

for facility-based healthcare providers and community health workers (chws) who already have

reference guide which can be used and adapted by trainers based on whether or not trainees are facilitybased
or community-based.

The curriculum, which complements the national pediatric ART training, was finalized in 2011 and was subsequently implemented nationally. The training curriculum includes a 15-module Trainer Manual, a Participant Manual, and accompanying PowerPoint slides.
