This document provides standard operating procedures (SOPs) for infection prevention and control (IPC) when managing Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) cases in healthcare settings in Tanzania. It outlines standardized procedures for patient screening, isolation, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), hand hygiene, environmental cleaning and disinfection, waste management, safe handling of specimens, and protection of healthcare workers. The SOP aims to strengthen preparedness, reduce the risk of Ebola transmission, and ensure a safe and consistent response during Ebola outbreaks.
