EQUIP
|
The major purpose of the a EQU...IP Consortium is to provide countries with innovative and customized solutions that increase HIV testing and linkage to care, widen the coverage of ART, expand the capacity for viral load monitoring, and improve retention of patients on ART. EQUIP seeks to quickly respond to requests from PEPFAR countries and deliver solutions tailored to the specific context and area. By focusing on the differentiation and customization of service delivery, cost-effectiveness, and technical/resource suitability of each solution, EQUIP is able to provide solutions that are both scalable and achieve substantial impact. The EQUIP Consortium is led by Right to Care, and consists of Anova Health Institute, KhethImpilo, Partners in Hope, and MatCH.

Pump Priming Projects: Tacklin...g antimicrobial resistance theme 4: Behaviour within and beyond the healthcare setting. Pump Priming grants support interdisciplinary research that will provide new insights and stimulate creative thinking to tackle Antimicrobial resistance in developing countries. Through this call, we aim to expand understanding of how the behaviour of public, professionals and organisations impacts on AMR: how it can enhance or control the spread of AMR; how it is affected by social, psychological and organisational context, cultures and history; and how it can be influenced to create different future scenarios.

AMPATHplus aims to augment HIV... care and control program and expand AMPATHpluss primary care activities. AMPATH PLUS will be a new phase in which the Moi University, Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital, and the Ministry of Health facilities work together to improve the health of our catchment area in Kenya. In this new phase, not only will we seek to find, link, treat, and retain all HIV-infected people within our catchment area, but we will also dramatically increase our primary care and chronic disease management services. AMPATH is poised to serve as a model of innovation, ultimately creating knowledge on the best practices that can be shared with other USAID programs, with the Government of Kenya and with healthcare systems throughout the world.
