Background: Tracking of aid resources to reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health (RMNCH) provides timely and crucial information to hold donors accountable. For the first time, we examine flows in official development assistance (ODA) and grants from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (co...llectively termed ODA+) in relation to the continuum of care for RMNCH and assess progress since 2003. Methods: We coded and analysed financial disbursements for maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH) and for reproductive health (R*) to all recipient countries worldwide from all donors reporting to the creditor reporting system database for the years 2011–12. We also included grants from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. We analysed trends for MNCH for the period 2003–12 and for R* for the period 2009–12.

Since the beginning of the Ukraine crisis on 24 February 2022, WHO has supported Government-led efforts and initiatives alongside key partners on the ground. Building on efforts to date, and working alongside Bulgaria’s health authorities to bring added value to existing mechanisms, the WHO Countr...y Office Bulgaria, the WHO Regional Office for Europe and the WHO Health and Migration Programme, in close collaboration with the Ministry of Health of Bulgaria and key partners, undertook a joint review mission to support Bulgaria, with a focus on addressing the health system needs of refugees, migrants, asylum seekers and vulnerable host populations in Bulgaria.
The assessment team developed this report on the key findings and a package of potential interventions based on the opportunities identified and the need for technical support and assistance. The report summarizes concrete areas of work for which collaborations can be further strengthened. The joint review team identified key recommendations for consideration across 8 priority areas. The report and the outcomes of the review mission serve as a basis for future technical collaboration in the area of refugee health, to address the health needs of refugees and third-country nationals fleeing from Ukraine.

Entre le 19 et le 21 mai 2019, 34 personnes ont perdu la vie dans des attaques simultanées
attribuées au 3R (Retour, Réclamation et Réhabilitation) et perpétrées dans les villages de
Koundjili et Lemouna, (situés respectivement à 42 et 52 km à l’Ouest de Paoua) mais aussi
à Bohong et ...Maikolo (situés à environ 70 km de Bouar). Environ 12,000 personnes ont été
déplacées dans ces villages et leurs alentours. Au 31 mai, environ 4 200 sont retournés.
Dans un communiqué de presse du 23 Mai 2019, le Secrétaire général des Nations Unies
a appelé les autorités de la République centrafricaine à enquêter sur ces incidents et à
traduire rapidement les responsables devant la justice, rappelant que ces attaques contre
les civils pouvaient constituer des crimes de guerre et crimes contre l’humanité.
