What you should do as head of school or child centre to prevent cholera:
Educate all staff and pupils on the common cholera transmission routes and how to prevent it.
Educate all kitchen staff on how to handle food and cooking utensils. Emphasis the key points below:
o All kitchen staff MUST wa...sh their hands with soap and chlorine solution before cooking or handling food.
o All food should be properly stored to prevent contamination from insects etc.
o Wash all food in safe water.
o All food served should be properly cooked, and served hot.
o Only allow kitchen staff to enter the kitchen and to serve food.
o Wash dishes with soap or chlorine solution and rinse under safe water. Dry dishes on a rack well above the ground and in the direct sunlight (sunlight will help to disinfect).
All students should wash their hands with soap and safe water or chlorine solution before eating
Avoid washing your hands in a bowl of standing water, always use safe, running water!

Selon les estimations du recensement général de la population et de l’Habitat (RGPH, 2006), le nombre de personnes en situation de handicap au Burkina Faso en 2012 est estimé à environ 168 000, soit 1,2% de la population totale. La Fédération burkinabè des associations pour la promotion des... personnes handicapées (FEBAH) évalue à 66% le nombre de personnes en situation de handicap n’ayant aucun niveau d’instruction et seulement 16,5% ayant atteint le niveau primaire. Ces estimations contrastent avec celles de l’OMS et de la Banque mondiale (15% de la population mondiale sont en situation de handicap). Le champ de l’éducation inclusive se caractérisant au Burkina Faso par une absence de données quantitatives systématisées, de telles contradictions peuvent avoir des effets négatifs sur la planification éducative et les efforts déployés par les différents partenaires pour atteindre l’EPT.

Despite the Hudaydah Agreement signed in December 2018, the fighting continued in many areas of the country, such as Hajjah in the north, Al Dhale' e in the south and Hudaydah along ...the west coast. Within a year, another 400,000 Yemenis were forced to flee their homes, eventually adding up to one-eighth of the entire Yemeni population who had become displaced at least once, over the last five years.
In 2019, unprecedented heavy rain and flooding from May onwards caused catastrophic damage to homes and the families’ livelihoods, adding to their misery. Thousands of families who had already lost their home due to the fighting had yet again, their temporary shelters, beddings and essential kitchen supplies, destroyed.
