t de la leishmaniose cutanée sur la propagation de la pauvreté est important, car le traitement est coûteux et donc inabordable ou implique une grande perte d’argent.
Le coût du traitement et de la mise en œuvre de stratégies de prévention nécessite un investissement considérable de ressources financières et humaines. La leishmaniose cutanée est un problème de santé publique majeur dans la Région de l'OMS pour la Méditerranée orientale. Des nouveaux cas apparaissent dans des zones précédemment indemnes de la maladie. Plus de 100 000 nouveaux cas de leishmaniose cutanée sont notifiés chaque année à l'OMS par les pays de la Région, mais les estimations relatives à l'incidence réelle sont de trois à cinq fois plus élevées car de nombreux patients ne consultent jamais un médecin ou un professionnel de santé et les cas ayant reçu un diagnostic de leishmaniose cutanée ne sont pas toujours notifiés aux autorités sanitaires.

développés en intégrant les relais communautaires comme partenaires d’exécution, un manque d’harmonisation est constaté entre les organisations, notamment lié à une absence de statut des relais.
L’étude a pour objectif d’évaluer le fonctionnement des relais communautaires à travers la revue des politiques de santé communautaire et à partir d’études de cas dans le cadre des activités de prévention de la malnutrition aigüe, au Burkina Faso, Mali et Sénégal. 12 projets portés par 9 ONG ont été retenus, et 8 ont fait l’objet d’une analyse qualitative. Au total, 13 villages ou quartiers urbains ont été visités, couvrant plus de 130 relais communautaires, une quinzaine d’agents de santé et une centaine de représentants de la communauté.

war zunächst darauf beschränkt, hauptsächlich europäische Flüchtlinge direkt nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg zu schützen. Um den geänderten Bedingungen von Flüchtlingen weltweit gerecht zu werden, wurde der Wirkungsbereich der Konvention mit dem Protokoll von 1967 sowohl zeitlich als auch geografisch erweitert. Insgesamt 147 Staaten sind bisher der Genfer Flüchtlingskonvention und/oder dem Protokoll von 1967 beigetreten.
