Ergriffene Maßnahmen wie etwa Kollektiv- oder auch Kettenquarantänen haben die Lebensbedingungen der Bewohner*innen noch weiter erschwert, mit gravierenden Auswirkungen auf das Asylverfahren, Gesundheit, Beruf, Ausbildung und Schule und so letztendlich auch auf ihre soziale Teilhabe.

An intervention costing analysis provides an estimate of the funding required to implement a set of policy interventions for prevention and clinical interventions. A return to appropriate, targeted antimicrobial use in humans, animals and the environment is critical if we are to conserve the antimicrobial armamentarium. Various interventions have been put in place to address antimicrobial resistance in South Africa. However, these are insufficient to effectively tackle the threat faced by the country. The strengths of the current system are outweighed by its weaknesses.
