In view of the findings of the analysis, it was recommended that an Acceleration Plan for Paediatric HIV Services be developed to address the barriers and bottlenecks identified during the assessment. At the current pace of paediatric HIV Services, it can be extrapolated that paediatric ART coverage will increase from 26% to only about 40% by 2020; Ghana will, therefore, fall short of the global target of 90-90-90 (UNAIDS concept). more

At the conclusion of the March 2020 Johannesburg Regional Planning Meeting, the PEPFAR Malawi team presented a COP20 surge strategy to improve client-centered care, mitigate treatment disruption, scale prevention programs to key and vulnerable populations, and strengthen national health systems.
Following this meeting, the first three COVID-19 cases were reported in Malawi and immediately thereafter, adaptations to the COP20 strategy became imperative to deliver safe, client-centered care.

Le Sénégal, à l’instar des pays de la sous région, s’est engagé à élaborer et mettre en œuvre son plan de rattrapage en 2018 pour accélérer les interventions vers l’atteinte de cet objectif. Le plan de rattrapage du Sénégal est lancé officiellement en janvier 2018 au Novotel en présence des autorités, des acteurs et des partenaires.
