This guidance provides specific considerations for the use of non-medical masks, also known as fabric masks, by children as a means for source control in the context of the current COVID-19 pandemic. It also advises on the use of medical masks for children under certain conditions.
Learn how the decision making process must ensure that appropriate structures and supports are in place to maximize the nursing effort resulting in the best possible care and positive outcomes for the patients/clients, nursing personnel, and the organization.
Eleven (11) districts in Rwanda were initially were considered most at risk of the outbreak, namely:
• Rusizi, Nyamasheke, Karongi, Rutsiro, Rubavu (bordering DRC)
• Musanze, Burera, Gicumbi and Nyagatare (bordering Uganda)
• Kigali city (comprised of 3 localities) due to the presence of Ki...gali International Airport.
The National Contingency plan was revised in February 2019 and two districts added to the list (Nyabihu and Nyanza), bring total districts at risk to 13. During the timeframe, the operation, however covered the 11 initial districts.
