Reducing the spread of HIV and improving care and treatment for people living with HIV and AIDS requires addressing social factors and behaviors that put people at risk. Social and behavior change communication (SBCC) goes beneath the surface to uncover the causes of behaviors, the social structures... that drive the epidemic and the factors that increase risk and vulnerability.
