L’enquête Smart rapide de 2022 s’est tenue dans la commune de Ouahigouya dans la Province du Yatenga, région du Nord. La commune est confrontée à des attaques de groupes armés et accueille des milliers de personnes déplacées interne fuyant l’insécurité.
La méthodologie SMART rapide ...a été utilisée pour cette enquête dont la collecte s’est déroulée du 13 au 15 juin 2022. Au total, cinq (05) équipes de deux enquêteurs ont été employées pour cette collecte. Vingt-trois (23) grappes sur vingt-cinq (25) grappes prévues ont été couvertes. Deux grappes n’ont pu être enquêtées pour des raisons sécuritaires. Au total, 230 ménages et 217 enfants ont été enquêtés au cours de cette enquête.
Les données ont été collectées sur des SMARTPHONES à travers un formulaire conçu à cet effet sur la plateforme Kobotoolbox. Le serveur de bureau d’Action contre la faim de Ouahigouya a servi de plateforme d’hébergement des données. Les données collectées ont ensuite été extraite puis traiter grâce au tableau Excel avant d’être analysé avec le Logiciel ENA pour SMART (version de janvier 2020).

An attempt has been made to map the incidence of uni-dimensional and multi-dimensional poverty simultaneously arguably for the first time in Pakistan. While multi-dimensional poverty map is calculated using PSLM 2010-11; small area estimation technique is utilized to map uni-dimensional poverty usin...g both nationally representative HIES (Household Integrated Economic Survey) and district-level representative PSLM (Pakistan Standard of Living Measurement) for the same year of 2010-11. The result indicates the existence of spatial distribution of poverty pockets in each of the four provinces of Pakistan. Furthermore, it is also observed that these pockets of poverty are more concentrated in the desert and mountains regions of the country.

Ce rapport identifie les principales lacunes mondiales dans les services WASH : un tiers des établissements de santé ne dispose pas des installations de lavage des mains nécessaires sur les lieux de soins ; un établissement sur quatre n’a pas de services de base pour l’approvisionnement en e...au, et un sur dix n’a pas de services d’assainissement. Cela signifie qu’1,8 milliard de personnes utilisent des installations dépourvues de services de base pour l’approvisionnement en eau et 800 millions des installations sans toilettes. Dans les 47 pays les moins avancés du monde, le problème est encore plus grave : la moitié des établissements de santé ne dispose pas de services de base pour l’approvisionnement en eau. Qui plus est, l’ampleur du problème demeure méconnue car des lacunes importantes dans les données persistent, en particulier pour ce qui concerne le nettoyage de l’environnement.
