Employing a narrative approach, it features characters who demonstrate key preventive behaviours, such as using insecticide-treated nets, eliminating mosquito breeding sites an...d seeking timely medical treatment. Serving as a tool for community health education, the comic book aims to foster behavioural change and empower children to act as agents of malaria prevention within their families and communities.

Air pollution from road traffic is a serious health hazard, and people with preexisting respiratory disease may be at increased risk. We investigated the effects of short-term exposure to diesel traffic in people with asthma in an urban, roadside environment.

At least 1.7 million U.S. workers are potentially exposed to respirable crystallin...e silica [NIOSH 1991], and many are exposed to concentrations that exceed limits defined by current regulations and standards.
